Water extraction is a traditional and well known method for deep-cleaning synthetic carpets. The detergent and water solution is sprayed onto the carpet under low pressure (less than 200 pounds per square inch), and then immediately vacuumed out, along with the dirt. High quality extractors can pull 70-90 % of the water out of the carpet.
Because hot water extraction requires a lot of hot water, it can be hard on some carpets. This is why we use cold water extraction, which works just as well and also reduces the amount of color fading, running, and shrinking.
With cold water extraction we use our highly effective peroxide-based products. There are no allergens introduced into your home, and no residue left in the carpet.
Most carpet cleaners just use the over 40 year old manual scrub wand method, which requires a great deal of physical labor, often producing only mediocre results.
The Rotary Brush Carpet Extractor operates with one hand like an upright vacuum cleaner. The rotary brush thoroughly cleans the carpet pile rather than just back and forth a few times like a manual wand.
